Loyal supporters of the pop star are urging that a person who jumped a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers indicated that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

History of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a performance. His Instagram account features recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Past Trauma

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

A number of fans also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Event Details

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore venue, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The movie, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the well-known theatrical production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely relationship between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and earned a dozen Academy Award nods, securing several for best costume and artistic direction.
