This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to players forming strong views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite like a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their feelings. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
